  • What is this notion that the colleges are responsible. Were these "students" and famalies coerced into forced acceptances? Did anyone consider saying, "No, I can't afford that school so I will look elsewhere".

  • Media hype.  Most students, 85 percent, are carrying a loan of 23,000 dollars.  That is comparable in today's dollars to a loan of 7,000 dollars ion the 1970's.  Hardly crushing debt.
